WR CHIEFS HONOUR CHIEF DIRECTOR

The Western Regional House of Chiefs has honoured the Chief Director of Western Region Coordinating council (WRCC), Mr. David Dramani Yaro, for his selfless devotion and service to the region and country.
The initiativeof the house, followed by the commendation made by the chairman of Ghana @ 50 probe, Justice Isaac Duose, when Mr. Yaro appeared before the committee on September 14, 2009.
“We are awarding him this special honour in appreciation of his selfless services to the region. We must applaud public servants when it is due and rebuke where appropriate”
The President of the House Attibrukusu III, made this statement at the second general meeting of the house. He said, “You have discharged your duties diligently and you deserve this recommendation since we appreciate your good works.
Responding to the honour done him by the House, Mr. Yaro said that he was overwhelmed “but not surprised”.
He said that, the nation needs to recognise and award hard work so that her sons “will die” for the people.
“This honour is not for me alone ours as public servant's is to serve and give our best” Mr. Yaro said.
He continued, “The secret of success is to encourage hard work, be a key player’ and coordinate the works of our heads of departments.”
He advised public servants to accept postings to all parts of the all parts of the country and improve upon the conditions of the people.
The Vice President of the house, Osagyefo Kwamina Enimil, presented him with a certificate accompanied by a citation and a piece of cloth.
Present at the ceremony were the Western Regional Minister, Mr. Paul Evans Aidoo, and his deputy, Miss Betty Bosumtwi—Sam and the Registrar of the House, Mr. Samuel Yeboah—Menkah.
